John and I have been married for 28 years, and live in the mountains of North Georgia. He mentioned to me the other day that if I would just concentrate on one thing, I might get something done. And he's right! I always have 2 or 3 or 10 projects going on at one time. He suggested I start a blog (project number 2043 or so) to share some of what's going on. We own a Vacuum Cleaner store, where I work full-time, we have four adult children, three grandchildren, various spouses and significant others, 2 big dogs, a greenhouse, veggie garden, flower gardens, and 2 yards to take care of. Aside from all of that, I'm an avid reader, quilter, and movie fanatic who loves to cook, hates to clean, and would love to spend all her time sitting on the deck in the sun with a book. On top of everything else, I'm on a quest to lose 30 pounds ASAP and run my first 5K in September. Stay tuned for garden tips, recipes, crafty stuff, book and movie recommendations, and........oh........I'm also a Christmas nut with over 18 trees in my house every year! Read on.......
